We use social media feeds on our website (Facebook, etc.). Are those sites ADA compliant, and are we liable if they aren’t and we feature their content on our site?
Facebook is not fully ADA compliant, and most websites have yet to be. Find Facebook’s Accessibility information here. While the Americans with Disabilities Act has been around for a long while, actual enforcement is a new thing, and organizations that receive funding from the federal government are the most pressed to become compliant. As such, organizations are getting on board at a varied pace and you will need to make the decision that is in the best interest of your organization.
